Employee Spotlight: Bethany Kerley

Each month, CDR features a spotlight of one of our employees. This month we are learning more about Bethany Kerley, Production Manager.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Weekend naps in our seasons room—listening to the birds, the breeze and nature.

Who do you donate to or volunteer with?
Chesapeake Bay Foundation is my favorite group to support.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Filet, Medium rare with blue cheeses crumble, a loaded baked potato and asparagus.

Describe yourself in 5 #Hashtags.
#tired #multi-tasker. I couldn’t think of anymore so I asked my husband Todd and son Jace for help. Todd’s answer was #supermom and Jace’s answer was #mymommydoeslotsofthingsforme and my daughter Maren’s answer was #Iwantnak (I want a snack.)  That about sums me up these days :)

Where was the last place you traveled?
I’ll answer this question with the last place we traveled before kids because they are two vastly different experiences, LOL! Before kids: New Zealand and Australia for our month-long honeymoon.  With kids: Siesta Key, FL.

What city were you born in?
Baltimore (Let’s go O’s! Let’s go Ravens!)

What keeps you motivated?
My family - Todd, Jace and Maren <3

What was your first job and what did it teach you?
When I was 15, I started as a busgirl and later server at Chartwell Golf and Country Club and worked there for 8 years. I came out of it saying “you haven’t experienced life if you haven’t experienced working in a restaurant.” It taught me thick skin, patience, hard work and hustle.

Keep calm and …?
Drink wine!

What TV show would you be on if you could?
I’d be a news anchor on the Today Show.
