Employee Spotlight: Kevin Payne

Each month, CDR features a spotlight of one of our employees. This month we are learning more about Kevin Payne, Associate Account Director.

What is your favorite thing about working at CDR? 

I enjoy the people and the camaraderie amongst us.

What is your guilty pleasure? 

Chocolate and peanut butter.

Who do you donate to or volunteer with? 

I support the American Cancer Society because of cancer’s impact on my family.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

It would have to be tacos with shredded pork.

Where is one city or country you would love to visit? 

My dream vacation would be the Amalfi coast of Italy.

What keeps you motivated? 

My family mostly and taking care of them. Scoring the best I can at golf.

What was your first job and what did it teach you? 

I was a gas station attendant at age 15 in Silver Spring.  It taught me the value of a dollar and that there were better ways to make a buck.

Keep your head down and eye on the ball. 

If you could be a super hero, which one would you be?

I would be the Flash so I could get all of the things I want to get done or have to get done quickly in order to move on to the things I want to relax doing.

Tell us about your pets?

My pets play a large role in my life. I have two dogs and a cat. My one dog is getting up there in age and needs time to do everything so I have to be patient. And my other dog is bi-polar, one minute he looks sweet and pet-able but the next he is viciously barking at me. My cat is the best.

What TV show would you be on if you could?

I would be a CIA agent on Homeland.
